Cork furniture by the Campana brothers

The brothers Umberto and Fernando Campana worked with leather, palm leaves and fish scales, and this time they designed cork furniture. The collection called Sobreiro, which consists of three cabinets and an armchair, is decorated with perforations and carvings. The advantages of cork are undeniable: it is not only durable and environmentally friendly, but also well decomposed and recycled in case of need.


A collection of Sobreiro for the first time publicly showed in the Consulate of Portugal in Sao Paulo. It hosted the annual festival of art and culture Experimenta Portugal, which was the perfect place to showcase cork furniture.
