Snapdragon 6150 and 7150 will be created for budget smartphones

Qualcomm in addition to preparing a new processor Snapdragon 8150 is preparing two more mobile platforms-Snapdragon 6150 and 7150. New developments are designed for low-cost smartphones. Both chips will receive 8 compute cores and will be able to support dual cameras.

The difference between the chips is that Snapdragon 6150 will get support for screens with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and Snapdragon 7150 — with a resolution of 2880×1440 pixels. Gadgets with both processors will appear next year. So far, the most powerful chips in the middle price segment are Snapdragon 670 and 710.
