Specialists from an American studio defended coral reefs. As part of their project, they began printing polyps on a 3D printer and placing them in water.

The created three-dimensional models with high accuracy duplicate the structure of real corals. Calcium carbonate was chosen as the main material - a compound that is widely used in nature and used in industry, explained one of the project leaders.
