Selfies have officially extended to the animal kingdom as well. Pets are not averse to posing in front of cameras and the owners decided to tell about their hobby in more detail.

Photo and video shooting has already reached the limit when dogs and cats can use cameras on their own. Tripods, motion sensors, and even the most common training do wonders. Moreover, it applies not only to domestic animals, but also to wild animals. Especially in their houses, cages.

For example, some dogs and cats already know where the cameras are located and walk towards them on purpose. They take not only individual, but also group pictures.

There are even known cases of tigers and lions taking selfies in zoos. Cameras were installed in their cages. To take a photo or video, the animal just had to approach the camera at a distance of several meters and show its grin. The caretakers noticed that wild cats pose at an enviable frequency.

There is even a known case when a scandal erupted due to the shooting of an animal. A monkey from Indonesia took the camera away from a tourist and started taking a selfie. So, in order to decide who owned the resulting images, they had to initiate a lawsuit. And the court ruled that the animal itself took the pictures. Subsequently, the photos of the funny monkey became public, and not the owner of the camera.

Selfies, both for humans and animals, are an addictive hobby. And many, having started once, cannot even stop later. They do photo shoots, take part in advertising, sell their pictures and collect them.

OXO recently wrote about a Spanish artist who creates animals from wood. They look like real.
