Gezin Hackenberg is a designer from Amsterdam, who is known to almost all owners of Dutch antique shops. The artist purchases vintage products from them: porcelain saucers, old sugar bowls, glasses, etc. But he does this not for the purpose of drinking tea from aesthetic dishes. The craftswoman creates stunning jewelry out of them.

First of all, the artist selects suitable specimens. Then he is armed with a miniature drill and begins to create future masterpieces. With the help of it, Gezin cuts out round blanks, which then become the basis of various accessories. Some of them are transformed into rings and bracelets, others - into pendants or earrings. Hakenberg pays the greatest attention to the decor located on ceramic products.

Gezin considers his creations to be a rethinking of familiar objects. “Classic work techniques are not for me. They get bored quickly. I strive to experiment not only with materials, but also with form and concept,” shared the artist.

On our website, jewelry is presented in this section.
