Sponge, turned into the items

Japanese designer Yotsuke Matsushito made from ordinary sponges for washing tableware objects for storage different small things. The sponges were treated with molten resin. Thus, much of the material has become solid, and well, what was left soft, it was cut. The series was called the Colony, it includes products with a smooth matte surface. Sponges are presented in different colors: yellow, green, red, orange. Due to the interesting shape and depth in the container you can put soap, glasses, change, and well, some even used as a vase.
