According to research, children who go to bed early many years later will be more slender than those who usually fall asleep late at night. This is confirmed by an article published in the Journal of Pediatrics. The research was conducted by Professor of epidemiology at Ohio state University Sarah Anderson. According to her, a healthy sleep regime is a kind of protective mechanism against obesity.

The long-term study involved 977 children aged one and a half to four years. To 15 years among those who went to bed at 20: 00, had problems with overweight only 10% of children. And among those who went to bed at 23: 00, the number of children with obesity was 23%. Thus, a healthy sleep, although not a salvation from the existing excess weight, it can relieve this problem in the future.
