The Silver Arrow, which will be on display at Pebble Beach, has been recreated from historical records. Most of the materials were taken from the archives of Mercedes-Benz, some were received from the descendants of the creator of the car, Reinhard von Koenig-Faxenfeld.
SSKL was built on the basis of the Mercedes production model - SSK (Super Sport Kurz), which was sold between 1928 and 1932. SSKL has become a lighter version of this model, with a well streamlined body.
The recreated car was shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. Now they are waiting for him in August at the Pebble Beach Elegance Contest.
