To start a Tesla Model 3 electric car, you do not need a physical key. Access to the cabin and engine start is provided using a miniature keychain, or a regular plastic card with an RFID tag. The last option was used by Emily Didi for tuning her body.

As a software specialist, the girl several years ago implanted an RFID tag in her hand. She uses it to unlock the smartphone and as a key to her house. And after buying a Tesla Model 3, she decided to write the key card from the electric car to the chip in her hand.

To do this, the owner of Tesla Model 3 dissolved the standard key card from the electric car in acetone, and then she wrapped the resulting chip in a biopolymer and asked the specialists to implant one more part in her hand. Despite concerns, everything went well. Now Emily Didi does not need any additional keys.
