At a ceremony organized by the Iranian Defense Industry Organization, the new Aras 2 SUV was introduced. The car was immediately handed over to the country's armed forces.
This tactical SUV is a multifunctional vehicle that is capable of transporting various types of weapons. According to the developers, the transportation of weapons can occur in different types of terrain.
The car is characterized by improved cross-country ability, reduced fuel consumption, enhanced dynamic characteristics. The first batch of such machines has already arrived for use by the Armed Forces of Iran.
Together with the Aras 2 SUV, an armored car protected from mines and ambush attacks (MRAP) was introduced at an event organized by the Iranian Defense Industry Organization - the 6x6 Raad armored vehicle.
Representatives of the military department said that these new products were developed taking into account the specifics of the national army of Iran.
