Residents of the UK got the opportunity to buy cars without contacting a dealer. The new Renault Zoe can now be bought on the street in a special machine.
Auto Trader, which sells new and used cars, introduced the first UK automatic machine. Installed on a street in London, the terminal allows you to buy a new Renault Zoe.
In the machine, which was developed over 3 months, Renault Zoe is presented with a cost of £ 16,000. The choice of model was dictated by the demand for this model: users of the Auto Trader electronic platform searched for it 463 277 times over a month.
The creation of the machine was facilitated by sociological research. According to its results, the British do not like the traditional scheme of buying cars at a car dealership. The main problem is the final price, which may vary from different circumstances. For example, it may increase due to the installation of additional equipment, which was ignored by the manager.
Based on the results of testing this machine, a decision will be made to expand their number throughout the country.
