Just a few years ago, an artist by education Tatyana Lazaryuk began to create paintings from plasticine. In her works, she uses different materials - both expensive and cheap plasticine look the same in Tatyana's works.

Looking at the girl’s works, we involuntarily return to the old cartoons, which used plasticine - “Last year’s snow fell”, “Break”, “Plasticine crow”.

Tatyana Lazaryuk was born in Ivano-Frankivsk. Her childhood and youth passed there. She went to get higher education in Veliky Novgorod. Now she works as a graphic designer in Moscow, and relates her illustrations to the genre of naive art.

Inspiration for the creation of the plasticine world came to Tatyana several years ago. She accidentally remembered that this was a hobby from her childhood. After watching the Soviet cartoons, plasticine cartoons, she decided that it was time to try her hand in this direction.

At first it was separate figures, later - plot compositions from these figures. Further - more: portraits of relatives and friends, stories from everyday life, reproductions of famous paintings.

The girl takes from 1 to 5 days to create one picture. It all depends on its complexity. Now the artist has more than 50 works in her arsenal. They are simple and self-sufficient. Without pathos.

“Now several of my works are exhibited at the Museum of Naive Art in Moscow. They are made of plasticine, therefore they are not stored for a long time - it is difficult to exhibit them, but can be used as photo illustrations.

Products made of polymer clay are more durable, and I even tried to work with this material, but I still like plasticine more,” the author commented.
