The first puzzles were invented in the 18th century. But as in ancient times, today they are very popular. Confirmation of this - all sorts of records. Especially worth noting is the copy, which depicts the work of Jackson Pollock, an American artist who creates paintings in the style of expressionism.

The size of the puzzle, released in 1964 by Springbok Editions, is 61 by 76 cm. It has earned the status of the most difficult in the whole world.



There are 340 parts in total, but the pattern on each of them is completely chaotic. Even for people with extensive experience in collecting mosaics, it takes several months to put the fragments into a single whole.

It is worth noting that 40 years after the release of the puzzle, Springbok Editions introduced an even more complex version. It still contains the same painting by Jackson Pollock, but already consisting of 1000 details. Such a puzzle is too tough to assemble even for professionals in this field.
