The Chinese company Unitree Robotics presented a video in which their AlienGo robot performs somersaults. Their invention not only performs this acrobatic exercise, but also returns to 4 legs after falling onto the back.

Unitree Robotics presented its robot back in May 2019. Now the company has moved on to demonstrate his skills. In particular, the ability to do back flips, as well as return to the starting position after a coup on your back. This, according to the developers, adds autonomy to the robot.

The robot display was accompanied by visual data from the AlienGo navigation system. The robot is able to track the location of people in front of it and create a 2D map of their bodies.

It is noted that a similar trick was previously demonstrated by another robot - Mini Cheetah, which was developed by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
