From the moment the first car came off the assembly line, the automotive world evolved almost every 10 years. Models of one era were somewhat similar: in appearance, technical characteristics, the presence or absence of certain options. But there were exceptions to this rule in the form of the most unusual machines.

After World War II, the three-wheeled Isetta saved BMW from bankruptcy: while their competitors were selling expensive cars, the Bavarians relied on these small cars. They managed to realize more than 160,000 Isetta and seriously improved their financial situation.

The Ostentatienne Opera Sedan was conceived as a luxury sedan, but it didn’t get beyond the concept. In two years, the owner of Mohs was able to produce a little less than a dozen of these cars. A feature of these cars is the lack of doors. Inside, you could only get through the trunk.

In 2010, the French company Axiam-Mega launched the MultiTruck light truck. He was counting on transporting equipment over short distances. But with both a diesel and a gasoline engine, the model was distinguished by low operating costs.

After the end of World War II, Germany was forbidden to engage in the production of aircraft. Aircraft manufacturers were forced to look for other niches. Messerschmitt, for example, in 1953 launched its first car, the KR175, which the Germans themselves called a scooter with a cab.

Peel P50 - a car that is designed for just one person. He had one door and weighed only 59 kg. The fuel consumption of this “baby” is only 2.8 liters per 100 kilometers. In 2010, a limited version of such cars was released, but with an electric motor.

Rhinoceros car - such a funny nickname Daihatsu Midget II received because of the spare wheel located on the hood. It was presented in 1993 at the Tokyo Motor Show, but hit the series only in 1996. Such a model could be both double, and calculated on one driver.
