For almost 4 months, a photographer from St. Petersburg was photographing young children and their large four-legged pets. Not even pets, but friends, older comrades, for some kids - brothers. Andy Seliverstoff was preparing material for a new book called Little Children and Their Big Dogs.

The St. Petersburg photographer wanted to demonstrate how large dogs can be as friendly as small ones. In general, the author of the project believes that any dogs are best friends, teachers and nannies.

“My goal was not just to make beautiful photographs,” says the author, “but also to show how children and huge dogs communicate and interact with each other.”

Andy Seliverstoff chose different locations for his project. But most often these were parks, forests or fields. In nature, according to the photographer, both children and animals behave as naturally as possible.

In the pictures you can see babies aged 2 to 5 years and their dogs, large dogs: great dogs, Newfoundlands, Briards, St. Bernards.
