The new flagship smartphone G8X ThinQ was presented by LG at an exhibition in Germany. Its main feature is a case with two additional screens.
At the Berlin exhibition IFA 2019, the G8X ThinQ smartphone was presented, which received an unusual feature - a case with two screens. The first is the same as the screen, the second is a little smaller.
The first screen is an OLED display with a diagonal of 6.4 inches and a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. The difference between the screen on the smartphone and the screen on the case is the presence of a fingerprint scanner and a “cut-out” at the top with the camera. The third screen is located on the back of the case: a 2.1-inch display. It is used to display time and notifications. The case connects to the smartphone via USB-C.
G8X ThinQ equipped with Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of read-only memory. It also has a dual rear camera - with modules of 12 and 13 megapixels, as well as a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The battery capacity is 4,000 mAh.
According to the developers, sales of the smartphone and a special cover for it will begin at the end of 2019.
