The American company Lightning Motorcycles presented its new development - the electric motorcycle LS-218. The numbers of its index are the speed to which a superbike is able to accelerate.

It's about miles per hour. When converted to kilometers, it is 351 km / h. It is positioned as the fastest electric motorcycle of those that were mass-produced and approved for use on public roads.

The development of the company is distinguished not only by its fantastic speed, but also by its incredible dynamics. A 150-kilowatt electric motor with efficient liquid cooling creates a torque of 228 Nm, which allows the bike to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.2 s.

Of course, the LS-218 is not at an affordable price. The youngest version with a battery of 12 kW / h will cost about $ 39,000, the oldest with 20 kW / h - $ 47,000.
