The 37-year-old Angelo Mastropietro built, or rather carved, a house in a cave, which is 250 million years old. He supplied his housing with heating, electricity and even Wi-Fi, spending about $ 230,000 on the project.

At such a desperate step, Angelo pushed his diagnosis. Doctors diagnosed him with multiple sclerosis and the man was forced to quit his nervous work. He switched to building his home.

Despite the fact that according to the plan it was a modern house, inside its creator remained faithful to natural materials. Having cut through and secured the passages between the parts of the cave, Angelo painted the walls white. In some places, he decorated them with pebbles. This, in his opinion, gave originality to the appearance.

The cave was discovered by Angelo and his friends in 1999 while cycling. As they later learned, it has been abandoned since the 1940s. In 2010, it was put up for sale and ... Angelo bought it.
