The ship that will fly to Mars: SpaceX held a presentation

The American company SpaceX, engaged in the production of various types of space devices, presented its new development. According to the creators, this is "the most powerful spacecraft in history."

The presentation of the prototype of a reusable ship capable of transporting goods and people to Mars and the Moon was broadcast on Twitter. The novelty was introduced by the owner of SpaceX company, Ilon Mask. 50-meter spacecraft received the simple name Starship. During the presentation, a statement was made that its creation would serve as the beginning of the colonization of Mars and the Moon.

Presumably the first flight of the spacecraft will take place in the coming months. The launch vehicle should rise to a height of about 20 km and after some time return to Earth. Probably, such plans to enter orbit in just 6 months can look like madness. But the landing will be more like a controlled fall, during which the ship turns over shortly before landing.

After all the tests, Starship is planning to leave in orbit for up to two months. This ship is the second stage of SpaceX's reusable BFR space transport system.
