Brooklyn's furniture designer, Ariele Alasko, is known for her atypical hobby for a girl. She is a carpenter. The girl cleverly wields a planer, a saw and other tools necessary for creating furniture.

Ariele Alasko grew up in California. She graduated from the institute, and received a bachelor's degree in art and sculpture. In 2009, she first tried to decorate the interior of her friends with wooden trim.

Then the second project followed, the third, fourth, etc. A hobby has gradually grown into a life-long affair. Now this is a full-blown project to which Ariele Alasko devotes almost all his free time.

The main material for work is old wooden boards. Before using them, the girl is engaged in thorough processing and polishing.

She prefers only natural wood, and creates fancy patterns by combining different species. Ariele Alasko does not use any paint.

All products created by this master are thought out to the smallest detail. Often, Ariele Alasko takes not only days, but also weeks to select and correctly process this or that element. But the result is definitely worth it.
