Beginning in August 1918, the barge, torn off the tug and scuttled on the shallows, was located in the Canadian part of Niagara. Over the years, it has become a local attraction. Of course, not as famous as a waterfall. But a great addition to it.

According to RIA Novosti, due to a severe storm, on October 31 a big wave rose on the river and moved the barge from its place. The rusted structure, which sat more than 100 years in place, crawled downstream by almost 50 meters.

At the moment, the movement of the barge has stopped. But no one can guarantee that it will not resume. The cause may be another storm or soil erosion.

The current location of the barge is the Canadian part of the river, 1.5 km upstream of the Horseshoe Falls. The likelihood that the vessel will drag over this distance over the course is small. But, if this does happen, Niagara Falls will get a new attraction. Only now will it be located downstream.

It is also unknown in what condition the barge's hull is in. After all, it rusted for more than 100 years. And from a blow to the water it may well scatter into fragments.
