The authors of the project are specialists from Haselbaker rush architectural studio. They built a house for the construction of which they used only stone.

People who believe that all American and Canadian houses are glass or wooden boxes are deeply mistaken. New designs of houses - close communication with the landscape and a reflection of the lives of their owners.

Modern US homes reflect regional differences. Glass in this case rarely copes with the quirks of the local climate, so architects have to experiment with other materials. For example, a stone.

“There is a poetic and spiritual need for a stone house in the mountains. If a blizzard is approaching on the street, you may not want to be in a glass house. In addition, it’s hot there in the summer, ”studio experts explain their position.

The design created by the architects of Haselbaker rush studio is strict geometric shapes that merge with the landscape. It rises by 250 m and grows smoothly into the Franklin mountain range in El Paso.

But, despite the fact that this house was positioned by its creators as a stone structure, glass and wood were not neglected here.
