The American corporation Apple has removed everything related to vaping from its application store. About 200 programs were banned
Apple decided to remove about 200 apps related to smoking vaping from the AppStore. A pioneer in the field of personal computers and modern operating systems believes that this is the right decision.
According to the company’s management, this action was connected with “the growing concern of the country's authorities about their possible health effects,” Axios Apple reports.
It is noted that in the USA, 42 deaths were recorded due to smoking vaping. And more than 2.1 thousand cases of respiratory damage were associated with respiratory diseases from smoking electronic cigarettes.
Axios Apple adds that it is in full compliance with the authorities' claims about the dangers of smoking electronic cigarettes. The company is also concerned about the growing popularity of vaping among young people.
“We make sure the app store is a safe place for our users, especially for young people. We constantly evaluate programs and rely on the latest news to determine the risks to the health and well-being of users, ”the company said in a statement.
By removing about 200 applications from the AppStore related to vaping, the company confirms its position in practice.
Applications that were previously publicly available helped control some of the functions of electronic cigarettes. Also, users could learn about the latest in the relevant market.
