Raising a daughter in one of the US states ended in a police call. And it all started with the fact that the father simply asked his child for a mobile phone.

Respect for private property in the blood of the Americans. This applies not only to real estate or cars, but also to mobile phones. This happened in the Ohio Robertson family - the property issues of fathers and children had to be decided by the police, writes the Daily Mail.

Anthony Robertson, the father of a 16-year-old girl, was furious that his daughter had set a password on her smartphone. He believed that he should control the life of a teenager: read correspondence, view calls. As a result, the man took the gadget from his daughter.

The girl demanded that her phone be returned. But her father warned her that there was no password, no smartphone. Then a 16-year-old teenager called 911 and announced the theft.

Upon the arrival of the police, the girl said that she constantly lives with her grandmother. And he doesn’t visit his father often. And during the last visit, he took her smartphone, which costs $ 800. In this situation, the teenager said that she was robbed.

The girl’s father also explained his position. He said that he simply wanted to control the life of his own child.

Nothing threatens the man from the side of law enforcement agencies, since, according to American laws, property belonging to children can be disposed of by their parents.
