In Yantian Public Park in Shenzhen, a playground with a giant octopus was built. Inside it is a whole world of ropes and tunnels
The playground, which was invented for kids in Shenzhen, consists of several interwoven ropes and soft structures that provide simple and easy movement during games.
The author of this playground is the Dutch artist Florentine Homan, who was assisted by UAP studio specialists. He created this place for adults and children, so that everyone could forget about their problems, reports ARCHID.
The design is based on metal frames, which are covered with a grid woven from ropes. Inside the head of the clam is a whole room. To get to it, you need to go through the tentacles.
Using non-standard materials allowed creating the effect of a fluffy, knitted octopus, the head of which is decorated with a white cap of a sailor.
