Italian artist Graziano Locatelli creates chaotic installations, working, most often, with three simple materials: ceramic tiles, cement and glue.

From an early age, Locatelli was interested in the imperfection and short life of various details, exploring the ruins near his city. The process of destruction has since become Locatelli's main artistic vision.

Some of his works require no explanation, while other works are less obvious. The artist plays with figures making their way through tiled walls that resemble birth scenes at the intersection of reality and fantasy.

In other works of Graziano Locatelli, the viewer sees only multiple cracks that form the abstract outlines of human faces.

“As a child, I became interested in an unusual hobby that was aimed at exploring broken objects. Old cars and abandoned towns, spread near the mountains where I come from, were my favorites. The passion for everything that can be transformed into something else formed the basis of my work.”
