Today, December 11, the Ukrainian road service began to cooperate with the Waze navigation system, the press service of Ukravtodor said.
After the user receives information about poor-quality pavement on a specific section of the road, it is sent to a special database. This information is made available to the road service in real time. All information is provided with the exact location and photos of problem areas.
At the moment, the system is being tested in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. But later they plan to introduce the work of the service in other areas of the country.
This innovation, according to Ukrainian road workers, will help to respond more quickly to complaints from citizens regarding low-quality or worn road surfaces. And also focus on the most problematic areas.
