Segway, owned by the Chinese company Ninebot, has unveiled its new models - electric mopeds and scooters, as well as the concept of an electric motorcycle.
Segway is famous for developing the eponymous electric self-balancing vehicle. In 2015, it was acquired by the Chinese company Ninebot, along with which it introduced a number of other models, in particular an electric card and an electric cross bike. Now, Segway-Ninebot has declassified new developments - eMoped electric mopeds and eScooter scooters, as well as the Apex concept motorcycle.
eScooter, as indicated, was designed to move around the city for medium-long distances; The "older" model - E200P - is equipped with a dual battery that can provide a range of 201 kilometers, can accelerate to 40 kilometers per hour in less than three seconds and reach a maximum speed of 100 km / h.
As for eMoped, it has a mass of 55 kilograms and is 1.6 meters in length. It is noted that the moped is equipped with a battery pack with a new design, which can be removed with one hand. The maximum speed of eMoped is 25.7 kilometers per hour. Three different options are available - with a range of 35.4–45 km, a range of 54.7–64.3 km and a range of 75.6–85.3 km.
At the same time, Segway-Ninebot presented the conceptual version of eScooter - eScooter T, which has the function of remote control using a smartphone (according to the developers, the user will be able to call the scooter to the desired point).
