Istanbul artist Sena Runa creates compositions from colored paper using the quilling technique. For creativity, a woman needs only colored paper, pencil, glue and scissors.
The woman became interested in the art of paper torsion only three years ago. After this time, Sena already holds solo exhibitions, sells her work and even released a book, reports “Archidea”.
Hay began to engage in quilling after all attempts to find a decent hobby were exhausted. After a year of practice, the artist discovered a talent for color and composition when working with paper.
Her special style began to develop so rapidly that soon Sena even abandoned her main job as a PR manager and completely took up her hobby. Today, this “paper sculptor” is to spend a full day to create several such installations.
Recently, OXO wrote about a student from Egypt who draws incredibly detailed
city images. His recent project is a painting depicting New York on a sheet of paper measuring 70 by 100 cm.
