The new car brand TOGG introduced the first two models that will become serial in the near future.

The TOGG brand (Türkiye'nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu) announced two electric cars at once - the C-Sedan sedan and the C-SUV crossover, which is the first to enter the market. It is expected that the start of sales of the crossover will take place in 2022, but for now both models have the status of prototypes.

The TOGG car design was developed by the Italian design studio Pininfarina, but no one was reported about who worked on the technical part. It is stated that the machines are the fruit of the work of 100 Turkish engineers using Turkish technology, but there are no details.

It is known that electric cars will receive two versions - rear-wheel drive with one 200-horsepower engine located at the rear and all-wheel drive with two (one on each axis) electric motors with a capacity of 400 hp The power reserve of the 200-strong version is declared at 300 km, and the 400-strong version is at least 500 km. At the same time, as TOGG promises, it will be possible to charge the batteries by 80% in just half an hour.

It is expected that serial electric cars will receive video cameras instead of rear-view mirrors, as well as an unmanned driving system - at first level 2 (the car can hold a lane, choose a lane to get ahead of passing vehicles and park without the help of a driver), and then level 3 (the car drives on its own on the highway).

Other claimed systems include the integrated 5G Internet and multimedia system with holographic images and augmented reality, which, according to the creators, should help in using navigation.
