The TikTok application was banned from being used on US military phones. It is believed that it can be used to transfer sensitive data to the Chinese authorities.

TikTok is a social network that has become a real cyber threat. This was stated by spokesman for the US Army Robin Ochoa on the official website of the department.

A spokeswoman said the U.S. Army began banning the use of TikTok from the middle of last month. Since the beginning of this year, the application can no longer be installed on the phones of government officials.

According to the U.S. Army, ByteDance could transfer data to the Chinese government and recruit US soldiers as Chinese spies. Officials also believe that ByteDance may transfer control of the social network to third parties.

TikTok is a Chinese social network that allows you to create short music videos, live broadcasts and exchange messages. In China, known as Douyin.

It was previously reported that artificial intelligence taught to recognize photographs taken underwater. It can restore the colors and tones of images while preserving the original material.
