Royal London Hospital, a large training hospital in Whitechapel, was transformed beyond recognition a few years ago. A group of 15 local artists decided to make it a colorful and fun place in which children are not familiar with a sense of fear.

Isographers painted the walls with bright colors, using different genres. They turned to elements of oriental art, floral and animalistic ornaments, cartoon motifs, informs Designboom.

Artists decided to take this step to make the hospital for children less intimidating. After all, her visit was a huge stress for them. The kids were frightened by the harsh walls in bed colors, doctors in white coats and masks, terrible medical equipment.

Instead of numbering the chambers, the masters depicted on the doors of animals and birds, the number of which corresponds to their serial number. Also, for some works, they had to use not only paints, but wood and paper. Faceless partitions were replaced by custom-made bright curtains.

According to surveys, most patients began to feel much more confident in the walls of this medical institution.

As you know, children from the UK who ended up in hospitals on New Year's holidays are also worried famous footballers. This year, they congratulated the little patients right in the hospital wards.
