Brazilian pensioner came up with how to support children with rare diseases (Photo)

A rare disease is not a reason to lose heart. A pensioner from Brazil came up with a very original way of supporting children with Vitiligo disease, cancer and other health problems. He knits dolls that duplicate the appearance of sick children.

Joao Stanganelli Junior was diagnosed with vitiligo when he was 30 years old. Now he is 64 years old and has completely devoted his life to supporting children with rare diseases by making dolls. About this writes "Do it yourself."

Joao tied the first spotted doll for his granddaughter. So the Brazilian wanted to leave a memory of himself. His next creations are a doll on a wheelchair and a bald doll. The man wanted the children, looking at his products, to understand that they are normal. And this, in spite of what trials fate had prepared for them.

“At first, my fingers and back were very sore, now everything is in order. I spend 90% of my time with dolls, I have a lot of orders,” says Joao.

He added that as soon as he started to knit, it was already impossible to stop.
