Students of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University (IFNMU) have completed fundraising for the purchase of equipment for premature babies. This charity event was supported by the Svichado Foundation.

In June 2019, students during the Medical Ball managed to collect the amount necessary to pay the first installment for a resuscitation table with heating for children who were born prematurely, the IFNMU press service reports.

According to the doctor-intern Julia Dmitruk, the initiator of charity events at the university, the history of Medical Balls has been going on for four years. During this time, the efforts of students and charitable organizations for premature babies managed to purchase a pulse oximeter, phototherapy lamps.

This time, students decided to buy a resuscitation table with heating. But because of its high price, it was necessary to spend almost half a year to collect 150 thousand UAH. Soon the equipment will be delivered to Ivano-Frankivsk.

In his own way he is trying to help children and a resident of Brazil. He knits dolls that duplicate the appearance of sick children. This, in his opinion, shows sick babies that they are normal, such as everyone else.
