reports HB Style.
The presentation of the car was held at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The German manufacturer with his new development wanted to show how he sees the vehicles of the future. In his opinion, this is a close interaction of man, machines and nature.
Vision AVTR is the original version of the Mercedes Vision EQS luxury class sedan, which was introduced in Frankfurt in September 2019. Its production should begin in 2021.
On the roof of the car are 33 “bionic valves” that look like reptile skin. This innovation is designed to convey additional information to the driver about the state of the environment.
“We did not want to create a car, we wanted to create something similar to a living organism,” said Gorden Wagener, head of the design department of Mercedes-Benz, introducing the concept.
The car is able to recognize the passenger's heartbeat and breathing when he puts his hand on the control panel. When he raises his hand, the menu for driving a car is projected on the palm of his hand.
OXO recently wrote that the US military tested the innovative
Sikorsky HH-60W helicopter in an anechoic chamber. In case of successful tests, they plan to replace them with HH-60G helicopters, which have been in the arsenal of the US Air Force since 1982.
