Popocatepetl Volcano, the most active in the country, woke up. The eruption occurred on the morning of January 10.

Specialists from the National Center for Disaster Prevention recorded 268 exits consisting of water vapor, volcanic gases and low ash content. They also recorded 90 minutes of tremor. The agency announced this on its Twitter.

According to the statement of volcanologists, a volcanotectonic earthquake was registered on January 9 at 10.04 with a magnitude of 1.4. The next day at 06.31 an explosion was recorded with an ash column of 3 km in a northeast direction.

Mexican authorities have announced the second phase of the “yellow” hazard level. This means that approaching a distance of less than 12 km to the volcano is prohibited.

Recently, scientists stated that heart disease and blood vessels, atherosclerosis, stroke and heart failure, as well as many others, threaten many times less to those people who regularly drink tea. This also applies to average life expectancy, which is increasing.
