Samsung has developed a special application that allows you to use any surface as a virtual keyboard.

The user presses the keys of the corresponding area, and through the camera this procedure is read and transferred to the device, according to a Samsung press release.

As a solution to the problem of typing, engineers have long offered to use unusual devices. For example, brass knuckles or virtual keyboards that read information using a camera and computer vision algorithms.

Samsung developers managed to use only a smartphone or tablet with a built-in camera. While typing, the user's hands should be placed on a flat surface within the camera's visibility.

At the moment, the innovative application is still a prototype, but Samsung engineers intend to develop the project in the future.

Recall that the company Facebook, which is the owner of the social networks Facebook and Instagram, will allow users to independently regulate the amount of advertising related to politics and social issues.
