SpaceX completed testing the Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Falcon 9 rocket to test the evacuation system.

The Falcon 9 rocket with the Crew Dragon ship was launched from the launch site at Cape Canaveral. 1 minute 24 seconds after the start, at an altitude of about 20 kilometers, the Falcon 9 was blown up, passes Popular Mechanics.

After starting the emergency system, the launch vehicle engines were turned on, which allowed him to retreat to a safe distance from the rocket. The latter was blown up by SpaceX. Crew Dragon, in turn, using four parachutes splashed down in the Atlantic Ocean.

Crew Dragon is a SpaceX spacecraft designed to send astronauts to the International Space Station. At the moment, NASA has not yet given permission for test flights of a ship with people on board. But it is expected that this will happen before the end of this year.
