The Chinese company TCL Communication announced the completion of the release of BlackBerry smartphones by August 31, 2020. And what will happen to the fate of already made gadgets is still unknown.

The end of the production of smartphones is associated with the completion of its right to this activity in August of this year. Support for already released gadgets and their software will continue for several years. In countries where this period is legally longer, the manufacturer will have to increase it. This was reported on the official Twitter account of BlackBerry Mobile.

The reasons why the company cannot extend the patent for the production of smartphones were not disclosed. But what is noteworthy, a month before publication, company representatives invited everyone to visit the corporate stand at CES 2020.

It is noted that since 2016, the Chinese company TCL Communication, and the Canadian BlackBerry Ltd., have been manufacturing the brand’s devices. It deals mainly with software issues.

Earlier it was reported about the creation of watches with solders. They were called the most useless gadget because of the leisurely time display.
