According to a statement by the American aerospace concern, a notification of the detected malfunction was sent to the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and all shortcomings will be eliminated. To do this, you will need to make only minor changes to the Boeing 737 MAX software.

We are talking about the incorrect operation of the stabilization system malfunction indicator - the stabilizer trim warning lamp can light up even when everything is operating normally and has no problems, informs Bloomberg.

Boeing emphasized that the detected defect is not significant and should not prevent the company from returning 737 MAX family airliners to commercial operation by mid-2020, as the manufacturer wants. The FAA and other regulatory authorities are currently preparing for a new certification flight for aircraft.

The US authorities and the US Federal Aviation Administration do not intend to force the issuance of permits for commercial operation; Boeing had to stop the production of 737 MAX aircraft for the first time in more than 20 years. This has already led to the fact that the Kansas company Spirit AeroSystems, whose main source of revenue was the production of components for the Boeing 737 MAX, has already laid off 2,800 employees.

Recall that the operation of Boeing 737 MAX airliners was suspended in the United States, European Union countries, Asia, Africa and Russia after two air crashes. First, in November 2018, 737 MAX of the Indonesian airline Lion Air crashed, killing 189 people. In March, the same Ethiopian Airlines plane crashed, killing 157 people.

Another news from the field of technology was written earlier. The company Ilona Mask SpaceX plans to carry out a test flight of the new heavy rocket. The event is scheduled for March 2020.
