The LetsGoDigital portal has found a Samsung patent on the Web that describes an advanced gamepad for a smartphone. As you can see in the images, the gamepad has the usual controls for console joysticks - triggers, analog sticks, D-pad. It is indicated that the device is equipped with two fans located on the left and right sides.
The gamepad is equipped with its own battery. At the same time, according to the patent, the accessory can be delivered with a special adapter that will allow you to use the gamepad with smaller smartphones. Among other things, Samsung's patented gamepad has a vibration function and is equipped with its own microphone.
The basic design described in the patent suggests that the smartphone fits on top of the gamepad. However, there is an alternative design option - when the smartphone is placed in the accessory from the side.
Of course, at the moment this is nothing more than a patent; whether Samsung will ever release such a device is still unknown.
