SpaceX, a few seconds before launch, canceled the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket from the launch site at Cape Canaveral in Florida. The booster was to launch 60 Starlink Internet satellites into orbit.
During the final report, the launch vehicle’s engines were suddenly turned off and the company stopped broadcasting the launch, according to the SpaceX Twitter page.
It is noted that the launch was scheduled for Saturday, but it was postponed until Friday without explanation. But that day it did not take place. The automatic launch cancellation system was triggered due to abnormal data during the Falcon 9 engine power check.
The re-launch of the launch vehicle with 60 Internet satellites on board has not yet been reported.
Starlink is the next generation satellite network designed to provide broadband Internet access. The project began in February 2018, in total it is planned to launch about 12 thousand satellites, and another 30 thousand — to put into orbits with altitudes from 328 to 580 km.
Earlier, SpaceX signed an agreement with Space Adventures, involving
delivering tourists to orbit using the spaceship Crew Dragon.
