Flower hobby: Danish artist creates voluminous plants from tissue paper (Photo)

The hobby of the artist Marianne Ericksen-Scott Hansen is the creation of three-dimensional flowers from wrapping paper. Their woman uses as a decor of clothes, accessories, home decoration.

Thanks to the unusual technique and the use of the finest wrapping paper, the finished products are incredibly airy and sophisticated, according to the artist’s website.

In 1995, Marianne Ericksen-Scott Hansen graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - School of Design. Subsequently, she managed to practice in the manufacture of jewelry, clothes, accessories.

An experimental art approach to design has led to international recognition by Marianne Ericksen-Scott Hansen. Her work was awarded the 2000 Golden Needle Award.

Paper sculpture also deals with Turkish artist Sakir Gokchebag. In his work, he uses whole rolls of toilet paper, figuratively folding and unrolling them.
