Playboy Enterprises decided to suspend the print version of its publication in 2020 due to an outbreak of coronavirus.

The coronavirsua pandemic has an extremely negative impact on the production of content and the supply chain of a magazine. This was written in an open letter by the head of Playboy Enterprises Ben Cohn, reports Medium.

According to Kohn, the spring edition of the magazine, which will appear in US newsstands and the electronic version this week, will be the last print version of this year.

It is noted that all content, in particular Playboy Interview, 20Q, Playboy Advisor and Playmate will be released exclusively in electronic form.

It is planned to resume printing of magazines from 2021.

Playboy is an American lifestyle magazine for men of an entertaining nature. It was founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner and his colleagues. The publication is known for photographs of nude and semi-naked models.

OXO recently published information about another journal. Smithsonian Magazine Magazine — one of the most popular publications in the United States — has determined the finalists of the annual photography contest. The award will traditionally be held in six categories: “Wildlife”, “People”, “Travel”, “American Experience”, “Modified Images”, as well as “Pictures taken on a mobile phone”.
