Mitsubishi has tested the final prototype of the SpaceJet MR90 jet aircraft. He made his first flight over the Pacific Ocean and lasted two hours.
Mitsubishi SpaceJet originates in the 5-year-old Japanese state research project, which launched in 2003. The device is the first commercial jet aircraft with the time NAMC YS-11, manufactured in the 1960s.
The first SpaceJet prototype, the MRJ90, flew in November 2015. Now it became known about the flight tests of the final prototype of the aircraft (in a certified basic configuration) - Flight Test Vehicle 10 (FTV10): they passed on March 18 in the Japanese city of Nagoya - the device made a 2-hour flight over the Pacific Ocean.
The Mitsubishi SpaceJet M90 is a regional jet that can carry 88 passengers. It is equipped with two Pratt & Whitney PW1200G engines and has a flight range of 3,778 kilometers.
