The British wildlife photographer Brian Matthews traveled to Canada and took a great series of shots - they have a friendly polar family, a mother bear and two of her cubs, first left the den. And everything is new to them!

The meeting with the bears took place in the Wapusk National Park in Manitoba (Canada). During a walk at a temperature of minus forty degrees Celsius, a pair of 12-week-old cubs with their mother got into the lens.

Matthews said that at first the cubs behaved cautiously and were afraid of the outside world. However, then they became much more playful and every time they strove to escape from maternal guardianship.
