The house, which is located in a 12-meter white tower, was designed by Italian architect Lorenzo Grifantini. The external and internal space turned out to be quite interesting.
The founder of the architectural studio DOS Architects for his villa chose Galliano del Capo, a commune in Italy. He wanted to build housing that would help him and his family rest from the bustle of London. The finished building was called La Torre Bianca or the White Tower,
writes "Archidea".
The residential part of the building contains a dining room, living room, kitchen and bedrooms. They are connected to the courtyard via sliding glass doors.
The highlight of the project is the courtyard, in the center of which there is a rectangular pool, and along the perimeter of the vegetation “reproducing the presence of natural elements”.
A small staircase connects the three floors of this unusual structure. It is crowned by a small outdoor terrace located on the roof of the White Tower.
Each element of the house contributes to a holistic architectural synthesis: small square windows, a bamboo canopy in the courtyard, a rectangular pool with exotic plants and the interior.
Previously
apartment, located in the historic center of Manhattan, was converted by an architectural company Elizabeth Roberts Architecture & Design. The essence of the work was to update the interior using contrasting materials against the background of creating space in the loft style.
