The training, which affects the development of cognitive functions, was compiled by scientists from the University of Basel and Tsukuba University in Japan. Specialists conducted a large-scale analysis, during which they made recommendations regarding the necessary exercises.

Experts believe that improving endurance and strength, as well as a combination of these components, affect cognitive performance. This also applies to more complex schemes of movement and interaction with players, reports Popular Mechanics.

It is noted that a higher degree of physical activity does not always lead to the development of mental abilities. And an increase in the duration of each exercise promises an improvement in cognitive performance only with prolonged implementation.

Scientists have concluded that exercises for different age groups do not have to be different. Sports activities are equally effective for both children and grandparents. As for the differences between the sexes, here the intensity of classes, or rather, their increase has a different effect.

Recently, in the course of the study, a forecast was made that in the near future with lower back pain will affect 80% of the world's population. According to the journal of the American Medical Association, the most money was spent on the treatment of lower back pain (as well as neck pain) — 134.5 billion dollars in 2016 alone.
