Unicat, a manufacturer of mobile homes, was due to present its newest off-road camper MD56c at Adventure & Allwheel in June 2020. But because of the coronavirus pandemic, acquaintance took place only online.

The model is based on the MAN TGS 26.540 6x6 truck. Its total length is 8.1 m. Inside is a residential module, which is almost 2.5 m less — 5.6 m. This mobile home is designed to live offline for two people. But if necessary, five passengers can accommodate here, reports Popular Mechanics.

Fiberglass housing module is connected to the driver's cab. It is divided into two zones: a kitchen and a bedroom. Inside, there is a folding table, a dual-zone induction hob, an oven, a stainless steel sink, a teak counter top, a microwave, a dishwasher and a 130-liter refrigerator with a 65-liter freezer. For dishes, which is equipped with a caravan, there are cabinets with dividers.

Electrical appliances receive energy from a battery with a capacity of 1200 Ah/24.6 kWh, which is connected to a solar panel with a capacity of 1850 watts installed on the roof of the module. You can also use the Honda portable generator, which acts as a backup power source. Two-week autonomy provides a 600-liter supply of water in two tanks, and dirty water is collected in a 285-liter capacity.

In the residential module, you can organize a double bed measuring 1.4x2 m, and for passengers there are Apple TV, TV, audio system. Outside there is a trunk on which you can transport two motorcycles or one ATV. In addition, several boxes for storing things are provided on the sides of the body.

The MD56c is powered by a 540-horsepower diesel engine and a 12-speed ZF automatic transmission. Fuel tanks with a capacity of 980 liters of diesel provide a range of up to 3,300 km. Four-wheel drive is supplemented by differential locks, and the third axis is rotary to increase the maneuverability of the machine. There is a centralized inflation of tires.
